We have worked to provide some avenues to do this:
We have an online message board at sdfcc.net/forums. We are talking with each other about many different topics. The more who write their thoughts and ideas, the stronger this network will grow.
In support of that, we have several "by invitation only" forums that may be accessed by permission. We have one for those who are working toward their CDA, for those who are in self-study for NAFCC accreditation, one for SD Building Blocks Mentors and another for FCCPSD leaders -those who have volunteered to chair committees under our Steering Committee Program Chairs. If you are interested in seeing any of these forums, email admin@sdfcc.org. If you would like to become involved in some aspect of FCCPSD by serving on a committee in any kind of way, please email admin@sdfcc.org also.
We hold quarterly meetings across the state.
Regional meetings are a possibility if there are a few people who want to help set them up. The steering committee is more than happy to help support those meetings. Contact networking@ sdfcc.org if you would like to see this happen in your area. We would announce the meeting through the web site, through the Message Board, and in our newsletter. We can help with any other aspect that you wish. Let us know!
We also want to let others know about your own local FCC group! Send us information about your meeting dates and places and we'll get them up. If you have newsletters or flyers you want put on our website (see Sioux Empire Network as an example of what can be done) please contact admin@sdfcc.org.
